Multi-Wheel Roulette is an online casino roulette variant which, as the name suggests, uses multiple wheels spinning in quick succession. Many tables will also feature a ‘Double Ball Jackpot’ of 1200 to 1 for a straight up bet if both balls land on the same number. With two balls in play your chances of winning increase, but the payout odds are adjusted to compensate.
Jackpot Roulette works just like any standard version of roulette (mainly European) except for the addition of a progressive jackpot. You’ll find American, French and European tables available at many sites, with live dealers spinning the wheels, announcing the bets and even chatting with players who can communicate through live chat. This may sound complex, but the game does not involve betting on combinations of different results – the multiple wheels are purely used to speed up the game dramatically and so reduce the waiting time between spins. This is often triggered by a player spinning the same number several times in a row or via a similar stipulation. An American Roulette wheel is virtually identical to its European cousin, but the addition of a double zero – as well as the standard single zero – pushes the odds even further in favor of the house. The best online roulette games all follow the standard format of a betting layout, a roulette wheel and a ball.
This gives French Roulette a reduced house edge of around 1.35%, so if you see French Roulette online you should play this over the European or American versions. If the table plays the ‘En Prison’ rule, even-money bets are instead left on the table, and returned to the player if they win the following spin. Sometimes confused with European Roulette, French Roulette is indeed almost exactly the same as the variation explained above, but with a crucial difference in favor of the player.
If you never come to the table with more than you can afford to lose, and treat it as entertainment, you can have a great time playing online roulette. Roulette is one of the most popular games and can be found at most online casinos.
As the jackpot steadily grows in value with each spin, its total figure will often surpass six figures by the time it’s won. When the balls lands in the single green zero, not all even money bets are losers thanks to two unique rules (that are played separately). There are generally no differences between these live dealer roulette tables and other tables, but be aware that the pace of play can be a little faster, and these tables are not usually available to try for free. This can vary, but the most common Mini Roulette wheel use 13 pockets, with 12 numbered pockets plus a single zero. With two zero pockets on an American Roulette wheel, the house edge is increased to around 5.3%, so American Roulette odds are not the best.
